Scholarship Opportunities for Students
Shiv Narayan Choubisa College provides financial assistance through various government scholarship schemes for SC/ST/OBC/SBC and minority students. Our goal is to make higher education accessible and affordable for all.
Who can apply?
Students from the following categories are eligible for scholarships under Rajasthan State Government schemes:
Scheduled Castes (SC)
Scheduled Tribes (ST)
Other Backward Classes (OBC)
Special Backward Classes (SBC)
Minority Communities (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Parsi)
All scholarships are provided as per the rules and norms set by respective government departments.
Scholarship Schemes
Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme
This scholarship is offered to students of SC, ST, OBC, and SBC categories pursuing education beyond class 10. It aims to support their academic journey by providing financial aid to cover educational expenses.
Applicable for students in class 11 and above.
Covers tuition, maintenance, and other academic expenses.
Provided by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.
Central Minority Scholarship
Students belonging to minority communities (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Jain, Parsi, Buddhist) can apply for this scholarship to pursue higher education in arts, commerce, science, and professional fields.
Courses Covered: XI to Postgraduate, BCA, B.Com., B.Sc., PGDCA, and others
Application is done online through the national portal.
Provided by the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
Tribal Girls’ Incentive Scholarship
Under this scheme, tribal girl students receive ₹5,000 annually to support their higher education. The aim is to encourage more girls from tribal communities to pursue college-level education.
Beneficiaries: Tribal Girls of Rajasthan

How to apply?
Application process
- Collect the Application Form
Available from the college office or department portal. - Prepare Required Documents
Aadhaar Card, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Bank Passbook, Educational Mark Sheets. - Submit the Form
Either submit online via government portals or hand it over to the college scholarship cell. - Verification & Approval
The college verifies the documents and forwards the application to the respective department.
