SNC College is firmly committed to providing a ragging-free environment for all students. As per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within or outside the college campus.

To ensure this, the college has constituted an Anti-Ragging Committee and actively implements preventive and corrective measures through awareness programs, student undertakings, and 24×7 support.

🔍 What is Ragging?

As defined by UGC, ragging includes any act that causes:

  • Physical or mental harm or fear

  • Humiliation or embarrassment

  • Harassment, abuse, or forced tasks

  • Violation of personal dignity

Ragging is a punishable offense under law and may result in suspension, rustication, or even legal action.
