What is IQAC?

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a vital part of SNC College’s commitment to academic excellence and institutional improvement. Established as per the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the IQAC serves as the backbone of the college’s quality assurance and enhancement efforts.

Objectives of IQAC

  • To develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to improve academic and administrative performance

  • To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement

  • To integrate modern methods of teaching and learning

  • To foster a culture of innovation, research, and best practices

Functions of IQAC

  • Development and application of quality benchmarks and parameters

  • Organization of workshops, seminars, and training programs for faculty and staff

  • Collection and analysis of feedback from students, parents, alumni, and stakeholders

  • Preparation of the Self Study Report (SSR) for NAAC

  • Documentation of institutional activities and outcomes

  • Monitoring the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR)

Role of IQAC in SNC College

At SNC College, the IQAC acts as the central coordinating body for all quality-related activities. It works closely with all departments to ensure that teaching-learning processes, research, infrastructure, governance, and student services align with the highest standards of quality.
